Online Training
Imagine being trained from behind your desk ? Thorin now provides online DataFax training courses. We are using a product called GoToMeeting from Citrix to allow our Desktop to be displayed on one or more Desktops anywhere on the world. Similar to products like Webex, it allows to provide keyboard control to and from other users. The audio part is handled either through a TeleConference phonenumber or directly through GoToMeeting, a headset might be helpful.
Due to its setup, the maximum duration of any session is limited to 1 or 2 hours (2 hour sessions includes a short break). So any longer training courses will be broken up into several sessions. In order to ensure sufficient interaction, any online courses is limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
Despite this limitation, it has proven to be a very efficient and cost-effective method to deliver training. Allowing training to be provided at a point in time when needed, and without travel expenses.
Online Training can either be tailor-made, targeting a specific topic indicated by you as a client, or can be selected from this list of available Online training topics.
